PaintShop Photo Pro offers a great deal of flexibility with features that rival much pricier photo editors. It's affordable without being overly simplistic or limiting.
While the last version (X2) brought improvements to PaintShop's stability and performance, version X3 seems to have taken a step backward in this regard. The same can be said for the ease of use--as more features get added, the user interface is becoming so cluttered that a new user could be overwhelmed.
